Exalted: From Heaven on High

God is in his heaven, all is right with the World  In a time long ago a great hero, a visionary prophet named Onan Glamdron arrived in Creation’s darkest hour and rescued it from a time of tumult. With the help of his host he brought order to chaos and cast down wicked men, defeated their armies and burned their empires in purifying and holy flames. The gods who created the world were cast from the heavens and into the pits of hell for their negligence in maintaining Creation, their spirit servitors banished beyond the walls of existence and all else were given the choice to serve or perish. Thus was creation saved from threats both internal and external and all men were brought into the care of the Holy Father. Man was given dominion over the face of Creation and through the purity of his faith he would always be protected by Father. This is the story told to everyone in Sunday school, of the origins of their Father and Prophet and is the basis of the Church. Now what if I tol...

Introduction- All These Wayward Children  The Scarlet Empress has been absent for five years now and her Realm stands on the brink of Civil War. The Great Houses circle each other looking for an opening to place their candidate on the throne. The legions have been withdrawn from the threshold to bolster the political fortunes of their patrons, leaving kingdoms vulnerable to barbarians and the anathema. The Solar Exalted have returned to the world en masse, the Lunars lurk at the edges of creation and a new type of Exalted the Deathknight has come into the world at the head of necrotic armies. This tumult heralds the ending of the Second Age of Man, but what will replace it? Our story begins in the Hundred Kingdoms. Your village, your home, and your friends were destroyed and you will not rest until you have your vengeance. In your dreams you can see the flames, another village is burned just like yours was. The inhabitants tortured and slaughtered by demons. The Demon T’Nahva...

Exalted: The Exodus

Introduction- The Exodus The Ebon Dragon had escaped from Malfeas, we are not sure how he did it but the Scarlet Empress was involved somehow. All we know is that on that fateful day the skies above Creation grew dark, the Sun perished and demon armies marched upon the world’s population centers. They hit hard and they hit fast. Within 48 hours most of the world was under their control. They must have had inside agents to accomplish this all, but who would be so foolish as to sell out their own world? To be on the safe side we should be on the lookout for infiltrators. In response to the invasion the armies of the Exalted Host unified and rallied together under the banner of Mnemon and her Solar allies, marshaling most of the resources of the East for a last ditch assault against the enemy. The Ebon Dragon and his forces were at work replacing the Elemental Pole of Earth with an Elemental Pole of Darkness, so that the corruption of the Ebon Dragon could be made a permanent part of ...

The mercenaries and slave traders of the...

Skyfall Setting Info

The War, Before and After Before the war Houston's governing Council was composed of members of the Guardians and Arrow since its inception. The power of those two orders over the centuries has left the mage community with a distinctly martial culture, with its magical citizens having raided the Caribbean, Southwest and Mexico for magical resources in the past. In 1900 the hallows in the southwest dried up, leaving Houston as the city in the region with hallows and capable of sustaining a mage community. Mages flocked to the city, significantly increasing its population. To keep order among the new arrivals the Consilium departed from Atlantean tradition and took on an authoritarian form of government. All sovereign power was vested in the Hierarch, he was made arbiter of all affairs within Houston. The Hierarch was assisted by a Chancellor who exercised all power delegated to him, and who appointed the rest of the Council which served only an advisory function. As the Counc...

Skyfall - A Mage Chronicle

Introduction At the turn of the  millennium  a mana font was discovered around Lake Sabine, on the border of Texas & Louisiana. The font is capable of producing massive amounts of magical energy, a scarce and powerful resource for anyone powerful enough to claim it. Much debate was had within the Houston consilium over what to do about this discovery. The local chapters of the Adamantine Arrow and the Guardians of the Veil argued that control of the font was paramount to the security of the Consilium, that others could not be trusted with access to so much power and its bounty could be used to improve the city's magical community. The orders employed their control of the council to make a move for the font. Neighboring  Consilia held a  similar  opinion, this discovery was an opportunity that could not be missed. Diplomatic talks were initiated, with high hopes of finding a way to share the font. Negotiations with neighboring consilia were tense, came to...
