Exalted: The Exodus
Introduction- The Exodus
The Ebon Dragon had escaped from Malfeas, we are not sure how he did it but the Scarlet Empress was involved somehow. All we know is that on that fateful day the skies above Creation grew dark, the Sun perished and demon armies marched upon the world’s population centers. They hit hard and they hit fast. Within 48 hours most of the world was under their control. They must have had inside agents to accomplish this all, but who would be so foolish as to sell out their own world? To be on the safe side we should be on the lookout for infiltrators.
In response to the invasion the armies of the Exalted Host unified and rallied together under the banner of Mnemon and her Solar allies, marshaling most of the resources of the East for a last ditch assault against the enemy. The Ebon Dragon and his forces were at work replacing the Elemental Pole of Earth with an Elemental Pole of Darkness, so that the corruption of the Ebon Dragon could be made a permanent part of reality. We crossed the Inland Sea, landed at the Imperial City, and marched to the Imperial Mountain to engage the enemy. In Creation's darkest hour we were defeated and driven from the field of battle. Many good men died that day and our armies were shattered. With our forces in retreat the Dragon proclaimed himself the Emperor of all Existence.
We gathered what supplies and people we could and fled deep into the Wyld to escape the Ebon Dragon. I regret leaving soo many people behind but we did not have the time to save them all. We have not yet had a chance to rest; the forces of the Dragon have hounded us through our flight. Our morale was shattered and we may have given into despair if not for the efforts of Mnemon. In an address to the fleet she revealed the Sacred Scrolls of Pythia, an ancient prophet who foretold of this event in the Time of Glory. The prophecy foretold that the power to defeat the Ultimate Darkness lay in a land far far away called Zen Mu. Our journey will be long and arduous, and we will lose many friends as the forces of the Dragon continue to harry us but by the gods we shall have our revenge.
- Colonel Garrison’s report on the Fall
Setting Info
This campaign takes place after the events of the Return of the Scarlet Empress. The forces of the united exalted host were unable to defeat the Ebon Dragon, and now they are on the run from his forces. The exalted were able to hastily repair a few first age vessels and retrofit a few ships with reality engines and Wyld drives. The Wyld and its interaction with the new Pole of Darkness have created a black airless void so the ships of the fleet have been sealed accordingly. The ships carry limited supplies and a civilian population of nearly 60,000. The fleet is one week into the exodus.
The sacred scrolls are a collection of writings on all of Creation's spirits, defining their legends and roles in the Grand Design with a collection of prophecies on their ultimate fates.
You start the game with an intimacy of hatred for the Ebon Dragon, he killed the Sun and now you want him dead.

Important Personalities
President Mnemon
Mnemon, eldest daughter of the Scarlet Empress, is an old and powerful exalt. In recent years she has been the master of her own Great House, the 5-Day Empress, leader of the Righteous Orphan Rebellion and now President of Creation's Government in Exile. She now spends her time running the civilian government of the fleet and conducting research to locate the fabled Zen Mu.
Adviser Erythr Helios
Solar of the Eclipse Caste and former leader of ECO Corporation, the charismatic young solar encountered Mnemon shortly after his exaltation at a party. A halfhearted joke of assassinating the Roseblack by Mnemon followed by successful assassination led the two to become close friends. Aerith spends his energies setting up an economy for the fleet and avoiding his lunar mate.
Captain Clausewitz
The Captain is a stern no nonsense military man. Before his exaltation as a Full Moon he served in the Seventh Legion with distinction. Of the exalted currently in the fleet he possesses the greatest mind for naval strategy and serves as the commander of the Highwind. It troubles him to no end that his Solar mate is soo friendly with a spoiled Dynast.
Colonel Grey Garrison
A stern man possessed of tactical genius and a drinking problem. He serves as commander of the fleet's marine force and XO aboard the Highwind. When not attending duties you can find him spending time with his loving wife Fidessa, or at the illegal pop up bar aboard the Highwind.
Doctor Auric
A kind and playful man, the doc as he prefers to be addressed, is always in sick bay. If you need medical attention, advice or just a shoulder to cry on his doors remains open.
